STUDY SKILLS PROGRAM

In this lesson, students are taught effective study skills and methods to maximize their learning potential. Students will learn their learning style, time management skills, note-taking skills, listening skills, critical thinking tactics, memory/mnemonics, reading techniques, and best test and exam strategies.

WELLNESS AND ACHIEVEMENT PROGRAM

In this lesson, we promote healthy habits such as sleep, nutrition, and exercise. We educate students on the importance of these lifestyle habits for their cognitive function and academic achievement outcomes. Students will learn how sleep, stress, substance use, alcohol, exercise, & nutrition foods impact the brain and its performance. We provide tips and methods on how to improve their overall health

IMPACT OF SOCIAL MEDIA PROGRAM

In this lesson, students will learn the impact of digital technology on their health, education, and communication skills. Students will learn appropriate usage strategies and techniques to avoid technology addiction, social media safety concerns, and how to eliminate cyberbullying.

  • Become aware of unsafe social media interactions
  • Promote anti-bullying techniques
  • Increase social media safety measures
